Not on the Same Page Review: Second Chances x Workplace Romance

Title: Not on the Same Page by Allie Sambert

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Published: August 18, 2026 by Page & Vine

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5)

Thank you to Page & Vine and NetGalley for this gifted ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Trina and Casey couldn’t be more different, but somehow, they were exactly what each other needed. They started with a no-strings arrangement, convinced they could keep their feelings out of it. Of course, things don’t quite go according to plan. After spending a year trying to avoid each other, they’re forced to work together again, and all those feelings they tried to bury quickly come back.

I really enjoyed watching their relationship develop. They both tried so hard to resist turning their connection into something real, but little by little, they became the person each other needs. Seeing them finally let each other in was honestly one of my favorite parts of the book. Another favorite part is the setting. I love how the story is set in the publishing world. Give me characters who work with books, publishing, and literature, and I’m hooked!

As for the character, I really appreciated getting more of Trina’s backstory. Her hesitation to let someone get close to her made so much more sense once we understood what she had been through. It also made some of her choices feel more emotional, because you could see just how much she was protecting herself.

Overall, this was such an enjoyable romance with a publishing setting I absolutely loved. If you enjoy workplace romance, opposites-attract couples, characters who slowly become each other’s safe place, and stories set in the literary world, Not on the Same Page is definitely worth checking out!

Molly Tells the World: A Gentle Reminder That Being Different Is Okay

Molly Tells the World by Krista Weltner is a touching children’s story that explores dyslexia, self-acceptance, and the quiet fears many children carry with them. Our main character is Molly, a kind and intelligent young girl who has dyslexia but is terrified of letting her friends know. Like many children her age, Molly just wants to be normal, to fit in, to be liked, and to avoid standing out for the “wrong” reasons.  Molly’s fear is relatable. Children with learning differences often feel pressured to hide their struggles, worried that others might see them as less capable, strange, or even unlikable. This emotional reality is portrayed with great sensitivity in the story. Molly is not shown as weak or incapable, in fact, she is good at school, friendly, and smart. Yet behind that confident exterior, she carries anxiety and self-doubt about her dyslexia, which makes her character feel very real.  Everything begins to shift when a new presence enters Molly’s life, Leeann.
